We report a ringing of a hybrid Barn Swallow x House Martin; starting to this founding we discuss about frequency of this hybrid on Barn Swallow population in some different country and we report some considerations about this kind of hybrid.

Abstract – A Griffon Vulture Gyps fulvus coming from Italian Eastern Alps observed at Costa Fagaglia (Liguria, Genoa). We report the observation made at Costa Fagaglia in Genoa, Liguria (NW Italy) of a Griffon Vulture Gyps fulvus ( Linnaeus, 1758) ringed in Italy.

Abstract - Finches and Figs. Figs are a well known fruits that attract many different birds species and have a relevant role in fat deposition before autumn bird migration. Here we report a interesting habit that involve Chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs) that instead of eating fig’s fruit is eating seed of this fruit that accumulate in the soil after ripen fruit fell down.

Abstract – Different strategies for predation on Metcalfa (Metcalfa pruinosa) by Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica) and White Wagtail (Motacilla alba). Metcalfa pruinosa is a invasive alien specie recently introduced in Italy. This insect usually is standing under trees lives or on top of small branches were he is feeding of linfa. Here we report two different predatory strategies of Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica) and White Wagtail (Motacilla alba) to allow this birds that do not climbe trees to eat this abundant pest.

Abstract – Final data on the pre- and post-reproductive migration of raptors (year 2014) in Liguria , for the site of Costa Fagaglia near Genova Pra’ (Central Liguria – approximately 44° 26’ 22” N 08° 46’ 51” E) are reported.
